About Kieran

Hello, my name is Kieran. I own and operate 88MPH, a technology company focused on helping film creators and businesses build products and overcome digital problems. I provide tech consultancy, write code and design web applications for the film business. When coding I typically work both server-side and client-side with technologies like Ruby on Rails, PHP, and WordPress.

My academic background is in film theory and I’m currently engaged in research for my PhD in crowdsourced theatrical distribution. I am very proud to be a former Coding Editor of Smashing Magazine and co-founder of indie film distribution site OpenIndie.
